Luxury Rooms & Suites
Our iconic Magnificent Mile address showcases two distinct towers, the Executive Tower to the South and the Grand Tower to the North.
The Executive Tower, otherwise known as the "Historic Tower" was originally built it 1929. Home to some of countries most historic ballrooms, our famous Jr. Olympic Size Pool, as well as 315 spacious and modern designed guest rooms and suites. Due to the unique architecture and previous purpose of the tower, no two rooms in this wing are alike. However, every guest room in this newly renovated tower presents a design that draws inspiration from within. You will find the Executive Tower rooms to be more spacious and modern with jewel toned furnishings in turquoise and plum reflecting the Spanish tiles in the "Johnny Weissmuller" Pool.
Our Grand Tower built in 1961, and recently renovated in 2013, is home to 477 contemporary accommodations drawing inspiration from the Magnificent Mile fashion district and also from the 1929 Shriner's memorabilia and architectural accents found throughout the hotel. Every detail in the Grand Tower, from the chartreuse, red and green toned decor, to the grid-like patterns in the carpet, drapery and headboards, was drawn from our original ornate stained glass entryway and surrounding facade. Hand painted lion murals dawn the elevator corridors and reflect more of the Shriner history as modern artwork of the Magnificent Mile was brought into each guest room.
Combined, these luxurious accommodations leave no detail overlooked. With intricate drapery, custom lighting, marble bathrooms, magnificent murals, modern amenities and several room or suite types to choose from, your stay is as elegant as you require it to be.
